I’m a proud momma of a beautiful young lady and a spunky rescue puppy. I was born and raised in Texas where, at a very young age, the notion of serving others was at the core of our family values.
Even when I moved to Saint Louis, I continued my volunteer and community outreach by dedicating my time to a variety of causes from food pantry work to nursing home companion visits.
As I grew older, going into healthcare seemed like an obvious choice. After ten years of working in the trenches of a Family Medicine doctor’s office, I’ve acquired so much information that if I don’t find a positive outlet to pour it all into… I might… just… BURST!
So what’s the point?
I know… What am I really doing here? What’s the story, right? Well, I’ve seen thousands of families who have struggled financially due to their prescription drug costs crippling their budget. Instead of being able to help the handful of people that I see in the clinic, I’ve created a way to serve the masses.
The help or assistance comes in the form of an online training program where I teach families, just like yours, how to reduce their prescription drug costs. I walk everyone through how to properly document a medication list and the back end of what an authorization looks like and how to best position yourself to receive approvals from your insurance plan. That means no switching medications just because your insurance company doesn’t want to initially cover a prescription.
I also walk through all the various types of pharmacies: local, international, and mail order and what best suits your particular situation. We work on EVERY single way that you are able to find those prescription savings so you can start saving money as early as your next refill is due. To learn more, visit the Services tab above.
That is the absolute truth right there! In addition to the prescription savings course, I’m also on a mission to reverse Type 2 Diabetes. But why Diabetes?
There is a lot that can go wrong in regards to uncontrolled Diabetes. It can effect your nerves, organs, eyesight, and more. By being able to address the Diabetes head on, it can save an individual so much distress and heartache. I know people have it in them to change and that they don’t want to be sick or have to worry about their blood sugars all the time.
I also know the time constraints that physicians have within a short 10-15 minute office visit and they cannot possible address ALL of the dietary needs of one patient during that time. That’s where I come in!
I’m currently working on obtaining my credentials for Holistic Nutrition which will allow me to consult and coach people with diabetes. I do have family members with Diabetes and I have seen what an overwhelming task it feels like to take on. I’m just here to make things easier and less confusing when it comes to food and nutrition.
I’ll graduate in June 2019, if you’re looking to get on the waitlist for my coaching services, visit the Nutrition Health Coaching tab above.
